Effective black ownership, measured through the flow-through principle.
And how much is black woman-owned?
This does not change your level, but it changes what your customers can claim on what they buy from you.
This checker applies the automatic levels the Codes give to Exempted Micro Enterprises and Qualifying Small Enterprises on the strength of turnover and black ownership. It is not a verification and it does not replace a sworn affidavit or a certificate. Sector codes can change the turnover thresholds — if a gazetted sector code applies to your business, confirm against it.
